Position Summary


The Director of Business Development, Women’s Lacrosse will lead a team that organizes and operates girl’s lacrosse camps, clinics and tournaments.  The candidate will be responsible for staffing and directing each event, as well as being the lead instructor when applicable.  They will help manage overall strategy and execution for all business aspects involving girls lacrosse.  In addition, this employee will be responsible for handling all social media accounts, creating content, and more.  The Director of Business Development, Women’s Lacrosse should be a problem solver, and eager to tackle projects that are unknown.  ​

Key Objectives/Responsibilities
  • Support the growth of Millon Lacrosse’s core business verticals: trainings, camps, clinics, and tournaments
  • Execute key operational back-end functions including: field sourcing, coach coordination, travel booking, and more
  • Drive event-level sales and marketing via direct calls, email, and other channels
  • Lead execution of onsite functions including: setup, vendor coordination, communication with coaches, and general organization
  • Drive logistics and back-office functions including equipment storage, shipping solutions, and general fulfillment

Requirements

 The applicant needs to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Played collegiate lacrosse
  • Coaching experience
  • Proficiency on all social media platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and communication skills
  • An ability to manage a team of employee; Composure under pressure
  • Ability and excitement to travel nationwide for various camps, clinics and events
