During the pro shooting academy we will use advanced Teaching Methods and video for all players
The Pro Shooting Academy, led by Syracuse attackman Joey Spallina and PLL Hall of Famer Mark Millon is designed for highly-skilled offensive players who are hungry, dedicated, and willing to work hard to transform themselves into elite-level shooters and elevate their game. Defensemen or LSMs interested in dialing in their skills to be a threat in transition are also welcome! The PSA will be held at the Park School of Baltimore on June 12th and 12th, 2024. Camp will run from 9 am to 2 pm each day with a lunch break in between sessions. We will use advanced teaching methods and video analysis to study and improve release patterns, catching, body mechanics, and technique. “Ive studied other sports teaching methods and I can tell you in golf, for example you cannot take a lesson without the use of video. There are too many moving parts and too much speed for your eye to catch the subtle nuances of what’s wrong and right. In all honesty its irresponsible to teach lacrosse players without it and at the shooting academy we will use it to analyze all facets of a players release pattern to identify strengths. Weaknesses and areas to focus in order to improve”.
