Code of Conduct
Millon lacrosse encourages fun, friendship, and safety in a positive atmosphere. To accomplish this, we have established behavior guidelines that resolve around three basic principles:
- Respect for yourself
- Respect for others, including coaches and other campers
- Respect for your environment including dorms, dining halls, and bathrooms
To promote respect and positive behavior among campers, we seek to:
- Treat each camper equally with patience, respect, and consistency
- Praise good behavior/skill as often as possible
- Show leadership towards responsible and respectful behavior
Bullying Policy
At Millon Lacrosse camps, bullying is inexcusable. Our camp mantra for over 25 years has always been that each of our athletes has the opportunity to experience a session of camp where they can explore new friendships, develop life skills, and discover new skills/talents free of negativity or judgment. As a staff, we make a concerted effort to ensure that each of our campers enjoys an environment that promotes self-confidence, personal growth, and incredible memories. Our directors will train all staff to recognize and take protocol to follow as a response to such incidents. Our staff will promote open communication amongst campers so that campers feel comfortable letting us know if there are any problems at any point during their camp experience. We ask that parents remind their sons to feel comfortable coming forward and reporting such incidents.
We will make every effort to communicate with parents before taking any disciplinary steps, but it is important to note that disrespectful behavior, fighting, taunting, bullying, harassing, or other misbehavior can be grounds for immediate suspension or dismissal from camp.
